POWERGRID, a Maharatna Enterprise of the Government of India, is one of the largest power transmission utilities globally. It operates a vast transmission network, including 1,79,594 circuit kilometers of transmission lines and over 280 substations. POWERGRID is now looking for experienced professionals to join their team as Field Supervisors (Safety) on a fixed-term contract basis for its ongoing projects across India and subsidiaries. Key Details:

• Age Limit: 29 years as of 25.03.2025
• Engagement: Initial period of 2 years, extendable up to 5 years
• Location: Across India
• Contractual Basis: Temporary, with no automatic entitlement for regular employment

Eligibility Criteria:

• Essential Qualification:
  Full-time Diploma in Engineering in the following disciplines:
• Electrical
• Electrical (Power)
• Electrical & Electronics
• Power Systems Engineering
• Power Engineering (Electrical)
• Civil
• Mechanical
• Fire Technology and Safety Minimum 55% marks required.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience in safety implementation at work sites.
• No higher qualifications (B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech/M.E. etc.) allowed alongside the diploma.

Salary & Benefits:

• Remuneration:
• Pay Band: Rs. 23,000-3%-1,05,000
• Initial Basic Pay: Rs. 23,000 + Industrial DA + HRA + Perks (35% of Basic Pay)
• Annual Increment: 3% after every completed year of engagement.
• Other Benefits:
• HRA as per POWERGRID rules.
• Official Mobile Charges reimbursement as per policy.
• EPF & EPS under the MP Act 1952, Gratuity as per Payment of Gratuity Act 1972.
• Leave entitlements include:
  • Casual Leave: 12 days
  • Sick Leave: 10 days
  • Earned Leave: 30 days
  • Additional leave categories include maternity, quarantine, and special casual leave.
• Medical Benefits for self (first year) and self + family (spouse & two dependent children from second year onwards).
• Coverage under Group Personal Accident Insurance.
